On September 3rd – According to The Athletic, Fulham's Canadian international De Fougerolles will join Real Salt Lake on loan.

It is reported that Canadian international defender Luke De Fougerolles will join Real Salt Lake on loan from Premier League club Fulham.
The 20-year-old will be on loan until January, with an option to extend the deal until May, which would cover the end of the 2025 MLS season.
De Fougerolles appeared in all three of Canada's World Cup matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, starting two of them, including the 1-2 loss to Morocco in the group stage on December 1st.
The center-back was born in London, England, but has represented the Canadian national team since 2022, making 18 appearances for the team.
De Fougerolles was on loan to Belgian club Dender last season. He made his Fulham debut in a 3-1 League Cup victory over Ipswich in November 2023, with both of his appearances for the West London club coming in that competition.
In July 2023, he signed a four-year contract with Craven Cottage, lasting until 2027.
Real Salt Lake is currently in 10th place in the MLS Western Conference.
