Arsenal have announced that Declan Rice has been named Men's Player of the Season for the second consecutive year, topping the 2024/25 voting.

The midfielder successfully defended his honour, with 44% of fans voting him as the club's best player of the season. It has been an outstanding campaign, helping the Gunners bring the Premier League title back to North London for the first time in 20 years, and reaching the Champions League final for the second time in the club's history.

David Raya finished second, with Gabriel Magalhães in third place.

Rice became the sixth player in Arsenal's history to win the award in consecutive seasons, joining legends Liam Brady and Ian Wright, as well as current teammates Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard.

As a central midfielder, Rice's versatility has allowed him to operate both as a defensive shield and in a more advanced role, while his threat from set pieces proved crucial to the title challenge. Across all competitions, he provided 9 assists and scored 5 goals, including a brace against Bournemouth in January.

He also led the team in chances created with 96, made 239 tackles, and recovered possession on 239 occasions—all team-highs. Rice featured in 55 matches, accumulating 4,456 minutes, more than any other outfield player. He has now surpassed 50 appearances in each of his three seasons since joining Arsenal.

In his first season, he finished runner-up in the 2023/24 Player of the Year voting before claiming the award in his last two campaigns consecutively.

Beyond this honour, Rice has enjoyed a decorated season, earning Champions League Team of the Season recognition and receiving nominations for both Premier League Player of the Season and PFA Player of the Year. He will hope to add to his trophy haul in the coming weeks as he prepares with the England squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
