Ahead of Roma's match against Atalanta, Gianluca Di Marzio's official website reported on Roma's pre-match training status, noting that both N'Dicka and Dybala could return.

During Roma's training session on September 4, N'Dicka showed positive signs as he returned to team training after missing the match against Lecce. While Giraldi performed well in his absence, N'Dicka is expected to reclaim the center-back position.
Dybala also reported feeling good, with his muscle fatigue not presenting a significant concern, and has resumed full training with the squad. Pending final pre-match assessment, Dybala is likely to start. Roma's forward options will center on either Dybala or Soulé alongside Malen and Morata, who are set to start.
