After the transfer window closes on September 1, Barcelona and 41 other professional football clubs will learn their new squad cost limits this Thursday. La Liga's previous limit for Barcelona, set in February last year, was 432.807 million euros, an increase of 81 million euros from the 351.284 million euro limit set nearly a year prior.

Unlike previous summer transfer windows, Barcelona operated under a "1-for-1" rule this summer, allowing them to sign and register players normally.
