On the evening of September 11, Barcelona officially announced the extension of 18-year-old Egyptian forward Hamza Abdelkarim's contract until June 30, 2030.

Barcelona Football Club and player Hamza Abdelkarim have reached an agreement on a contract extension valid until June 30, 2030.

The contract will be signed on September 15 at 5 PM (CEST) in the office of Barcelona Football Club President Laporta.

Hamza Abdelkarim will then be presented to the media at the club's offices.

The Egyptian forward joined Barcelona on February 1, 2026, initially on loan until the end of the season. He made his debut for the U19 youth team and scored on March 8 in an away match against Óscar. He scored nine goals in six league games, including a hat-trick in a 9-0 victory over Monaco on the day Barcelona won the División de Honor title.

In the summer of 2026, Barcelona signed him permanently, and the forward participated in preseason with the first team under the guidance of Hans Flick. He scored four goals in preseason, finishing as the top scorer. On August 31, 2026, he made his official first-team debut for Barcelona at Camp Nou against Rayo Vallecano.
