According to an exclusive report by German Sky Sports reporter Plettenberg, Klopp has nominated Adeyemi for the German national team squad for the UEFA Nations League.

Adeyemi, who played for Borussia Dortmund last season, transferred to Barcelona after the season ended. He made 39 official appearances for Dortmund, contributing 10 goals and 6 assists. This included 28 Bundesliga appearances with 7 goals and 4 assists, 9 Champions League appearances with 3 goals and 2 assists, and 2 German Cup matches. At international level, he played 3 World Cup qualifiers for Germany but failed to earn a place in the World Cup squad.

Since joining Barcelona, he has made 5 appearances across all competitions, averaging 28 minutes per match, and has contributed 2 goals and 1 assist.
