Outgoing FIGC President Gabriele Gravina has stated that Italy would "definitely" lose if it competed with Turkey for the right to host Euro 2032. He also confirmed that he rejected Mancini's return and believes Gattuso should not have resigned following Italy's loss to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Technically, Gravina is still the FIGC President, but his term will end next Monday (June 22) when the FIGC presidential election is held.
