Arsenal could be facing an unexpected departure. According to Footmercato, Al-Hilal has initiated negotiations to sign Gabriel Martinelli.

The winger has become the Saudi club's top target. After rejecting Galatasaray's €45 million offer, the Brazilian player is now open to a move to the Saudi Pro League, while Arsenal is demanding around €70 million for the player, whose contract runs until 2027.

After being excluded from Mikel Arteta's squad for the Community Shield and the opening Premier League match, Martinelli will not be forced to stay at Arsenal if a suitable offer is received.

With Leandro Trossard's departure, Arsenal has already signed Greek winger Christos Tzolis this summer to strengthen the squad, and the club is now seriously considering selling Martinelli to generate additional revenue.
