Fabinho has been reunited with his former Liverpool team-mate Mohamed Salah after agreeing to join Trabzonspor on a free transfer.

The midfielder – who made three appearances off the bench for Brazil at this summer's World Cup – was a free agent after leaving Al-Ittihad upon the expiration of his contract.
His departure from the Saudi Pro League club was only announced at the start of August, but he did not need long to finalise his next move, ending up in Turkiye.
In a post to their social media channels on Monday, Trabzonspor uploaded a video of Fabinho boarding a private jet, in which he said: "A familiar face is waiting for me in Trabzon."

Salah did not need long to make an impact in the Turkish Super Lig, as he scored twice on his first start on Sunday, in a 2-1 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir.
Salah's first goal in that game made him the third Egyptian player to find the net for Trabzonspor in the Super Lig, after Ayman Abdel-Aziz and Trezeguet.
And his second – a trademark finish into the far corner after jinking inside from the right to play a one-two with Ernest Muci – made him the first foreign player to score twice against Basaksehir for Trabzonspor.
Having joined Liverpool from Monaco in 2018, Fabinho lifted seven trophies in total, including the Premier League title in 2019-20 and the Champions League in 2018-19.
The 32-year-old made 219 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, 151 of which came in the Premier League.
Trabzonspor are next in action on Thursday, as they face Ferencvaros in the second leg of their Europa League qualification play-off, trailing 1-0 from the first leg.
