On September 3, Danish club Viborg officially announced the loan signing of Ivorian winger Lasso Coulibaly from Auxerre, with an option to buy included in the agreement.
The 23-year-old Coulibaly previously played in Denmark, representing Nordsjælland and Randers in the Danish Superliga.
Viborg's sporting director, Mads Agesen, welcomed the signing.
Agesen said: "Lasso is a very good player and was previously one of the most talked-about players in the Superliga. We are very happy he can return to Denmark and join Viborg."
"We have acquired a very fast and technically gifted player who can play in multiple attacking positions and fits our playing style perfectly. He has been performing at a high level in France, and we believe he can help the team this season. We are very much looking forward to seeing him play in Viborg's green jersey."
