According to English media reports, Joe Cole stated on "The Dressing Room Podcast" that Havertz could be the best false nine in world football.

Joe Cole praised Havertz's performance, believing that the German player has been consistently underestimated by the public. He said: "He was simply amazing in that position, yet we always underestimate him. If we were to create a highlight reel for him, just those touches, dropping deep to receive the ball, and that dummy for Odegaard, would be enough for 15 minutes. As a center-forward, as a false nine, who else in world football is better suited for this role than him?"

Former Arsenal star Ljungberg also believes that Havertz was the best player on the field. He stated that Havertz's link-up play, runs into space, and selfless performance were all outstanding.
