Regarding a potential replacement for the injured Locatelli, Romano stated in his podcast that Juventus is not currently negotiating with Brozovic.

Locatelli's injury could sideline him for at least three months, which will force Juventus to address the midfield shortage. However, this does not necessarily mean Juventus will look to the free agent market to solve the problem.

Romano said: "It's no secret that Brozovic wants to return to Italy after his spell in Saudi Arabia. This midfielder has been recommended to some Italian clubs, such as Atalanta and Fiorentina, but Juventus has never shown particular interest in him before.

"I don't know if Locatelli's extended absence will change the situation; it's certainly a possibility, but as of now, as far as I know, there have been no negotiations between the two parties."

Brozovic is currently a free agent after his contract with Al-Nassr expired.
