The FIFA World Cup can transform a player's career. Orlando Gill, Paraguay's new hero, not only brought Germany to tears with his saves (saving two penalties), but also attracted the attention of several clubs worldwide, including Italian teams.

The 26-year-old Gill currently plays for San Lorenzo in the Argentine league, and the club has set his release clause at €7 million.

It is unclear whether this amount is negotiable, but San Lorenzo will likely try to demand the full fee, leveraging the attention surrounding him. It should be noted that the club desperately needs Cash, and the penalty-saving specialist’s contract runs only until 2027.

In Serie A, Torino rate him highly. Lazio and Fiorentina have also taken notice, but both clubs may need to let Mandas and De Gea leave, respectively, before they can move forward with a deal. Other suitors? We’ll have to wait and see.
