Curtis Jones and Szoboszlai had a disagreement after Liverpool's latest pre-season warm-up match.

Liverpool defeated Wrexham 1-0 in their US tour on Wednesday evening, but the victory was quickly overshadowed by a dispute between Jones and Szoboszlai, which gradually subsided after teammates and coaching staff intervened.
Footage from the scene shows Jones first hugging Iraola after the match, then walking past his teammates and starting to talk to Szoboszlai.
Szoboszlai was visibly displeased with Jones' reaction, then turned around to continue arguing with him. This tense confrontation lasted for about two minutes, with the two constantly waving their hands and pointing to the other side of the field. They even jabbed fingers at each other's chests, and the situation nearly got out of control at one point.

Teammates Tsimikas and Frimpong then came forward to try and calm the two down. Although Frimpong initially led Jones away, Jones continued to gesticulate and then turned and walked back to Szoboszlai.
Subsequently, a Liverpool coaching staff member approached Szoboszlai to talk to him.
Jones came on as a substitute in this match, replacing a player at halftime.
Szoboszlai started as captain and was substituted after 76 minutes, playing 30 minutes alongside Jones.
