Pio Esposito - Esposito's agent, Mario Giuffredi, confirmed a mutual desire to continue working with Internazionale in an interview with Sportitalia.

Agent Mario Giuffredi stated, "Pio will stay at Internazionale, he wants to stay at Internazionale, we all want him to stay at Internazionale, and Internazionale wants him to stay."

Pio earned the club's trust through his performance last season, demonstrated sufficient cooperation with the coaching staff, and made contributions at critical moments.

Internazionale and the player's team are currently negotiating a new contract, which will also include a salary increase. Giuffredi said, "Everyone is willing to discuss a contract extension. We are having calm discussions because Internazionale is a very serious club."

There are no apparent obstacles in these negotiations; both parties just need to finalize the last details and await the completion of the normal negotiation process. Giuffredi concluded by expressing great confidence in the outcome: "Pio's contract extension will be completed at the appropriate time, without a doubt."

Pio's current contract with Internazionale runs until 2030. According to previous reports, the new contract will extend until 2031, and the player's salary will increase to 3 million euros.
