According to Tuttosport, seven Italian teams participating in European competitions have already received a portion of their guaranteed basic income, with Internazionale having the highest base, followed closely by Roma and Napoli.

How UEFA prize money is structured: participation fees and "value pillars"
The basic income from European competitions is composed of two parts. The first part is the participation fee, which is received simply by entering the league phase of each competition. The 36 teams in the Champions League each receive 18.62 million euros, while the guaranteed minimum for the Europa League is 4.31 million euros. The second part is the so-called "value pillar," which UEFA uses to replace the traditional market pool and is a distribution mechanism combined with European competition rankings. This system simultaneously considers the commercial value of the TV market and the club's historical performance, calculated by combining UEFA's five-year ranking and historical/ten-year ranking. The income gap between teams in the same group is largely determined by this factor. Based on these parameters, Football Meets Data has estimated the minimum guaranteed income for Italian teams:
Income will continue to grow: performance, rankings, and ticket revenue
These estimates are just the starting point. Throughout the season, every victory, every draw, and every improvement in league phase ranking will bring new bonuses. Upon entering the knockout stages, UEFA will also issue additional rewards, which will significantly increase the final income. In addition, European competitions are also a major source of ticket revenue. Fixed home matches during the league phase can further boost club income, especially benefiting teams with higher attendance. This means that while the basic income is fixed, the final bill depends on on-field performance. The more points earned, the deeper the progression, and the more European matches played, the higher the income will be. This once again demonstrates that the journey in European competitions is not only about results but also about the club's economic sustainability.
