On August 20, Bayern officially announced that they had extended the contract with young player Kashiano-Kiala until 2030.

Bayern Munich has completed a long-term contract extension with German youth international Kashiano-Kiala. The 17-year-old defender joined the Bayern youth academy in the summer of 2024 from Hertha BSC. In December last year, he made his first-team debut under Kompany in the team's 4-0 victory over Heidenheim.

Bayern sporting director Freund said: "We are very optimistic about Kashiano's potential and hope to gradually develop him into the first team. He is the second youngest player to make his debut in Bayern's professional team history and has also captained the German U17 national team, possessing all the conditions to establish himself at Bayern. Last season he was plagued by injuries, and now we look forward to him taking the next steps in his development."
