"I was lucky today, and that's always been the case in training too. I played well today, but I still need to work harder. I'm very happy with the team's performance," Bisseck said.

Is this match a response to those who doubted you?

"I'm used to being underestimated. That's football: when top players like Pavard and Stones arrive, you can get overlooked, and you always have to prove yourself. But that's not a problem. Playing alongside these guys makes me better, and I have to keep it up. Having so many quality defenders around me is a good thing."

"You're right: competition pushes me to perform better. I have to be at 100% all the time because there's always someone ready to take my place. If I consistently play well, I'll have many opportunities this season."
