According to Bild, new German national team coach Jürgen Klopp has stated that he wants to be more active and visible in his new role. And he is certainly doing that!

After attending the German Super Cup match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund (2-1) in Dortmund last Saturday, Klopp's schedule for the upcoming weekend is equally packed. And it's also connected to his former employer!
According to Bild, Klopp will host his farewell party at Red Bull in Munich on Saturday. Red Bull's German headquarters are located in the Bavarian capital, where Klopp's former office was also based. Until July this year, he served as global head of soccer for the beverage company, but after just over a year in the role, he stepped down to pursue his dream job as Germany coach.

At his farewell, Klopp will also reunite with his former team. In addition to group owner Oliver Mintzlaff, many of Klopp's former colleagues are expected to attend, including Zsolt Löw and Mario Gomez.
Meanwhile, Klopp will continue to attend several matches this weekend. On Friday, he will head to the Allianz Arena in Munich to watch Bayern Munich's Bundesliga opening match against VfB Stuttgart, and will give an interview to Sat.1 before kickoff. On Sunday, Klopp will also watch FC Augsburg face promoted side Schalke 04.
Klopp's debut as Germany coach is now fast approaching. On September 17, he will announce his highly anticipated first national team squad for the UEFA Nations League matches against the Netherlands, Serbia, and two matches against Greece. Four days after the squad announcement, the German national team will gather at Adidas's training base in Herzogenaurach for the second-to-last time before the campaign begins.
Fan anticipation is very high. Tickets for Klopp's home debut against Greece in Augsburg on September 27 sold out in just 10 minutes.
