On August 27th, Wrexham officially announced the signing of Kaboré from Manchester City.

Wrexham official announcement:
The club is delighted to announce that it has permanently signed Kaboré from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee, making him the club's fourth signing of the summer. He has signed a three-year contract with the club until the end of the 2028-29 season. The 25-year-old made 32 appearances for Wrexham and contributed 8 assists while on loan last season, and now returns to the club on a permanent deal.
Kaboré said: "I'm delighted to be back. It feels good to be here again. Everyone knows our goal is to get promoted to the Premier League, and I'm here to fight for that promotion. I'm here to fight for this club, for our fans, and to repay the love everyone showed me last season."
He was previously loaned to Mechelen, Troyes, Marseille, Luton, Benfica, and Werder Bremen before now officially transferring to Wrexham. Kaboré has made 55 appearances for Burkina Faso, including reaching the semi-finals of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was named the tournament's best young player.
