Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth reports that Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Palacios has completed his medical ahead of a £23.5 million move to Ipswich. If all goes as planned, the official announcement could come within the next 24 hours, with Ipswich paying a fixed transfer fee of £19.4 million. Palacios will become Ipswich's first World Cup-winning player.
