Antoine Griezmann has urged his Orlando City team-mates to change their habit of conceding first in MLS.

Orlando ended a three-game winless run in MLS last time out with a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake, though they had to come from behind to win all three points.

After Dominik Marczuk gave RSL a first-half lead, Griezmann scored twice after the break to help Orlando remain in the play-off places in the Eastern Conference.

Orlando have fallen behind in each of their last four MLS outings (W1 D1 L2), though their overall form has been strong.

Since returning from the World Cup break, Orlando have won three of their six MLS games (D1 L2), with a trip to Minnesota United up next.

And Griezmann believes there is still plenty to improve upon, especially with how they have been starting in recent matches.

"We need to change that. I don't know how, but yeah, we can't start the games like that," said Griezmann.

"I think we are starting good with the ball, but defensively we are without energy or without pressure. So, this is something to watch and to do better.

"It's always difficult to start with a deficit. Now we continue pushing forward and growing."

Minnesota snapped a nine-game winless run with a 5–1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes last time out.

It was Minnesota’s largest margin of victory in the regular season since a 4–0 win against RSL in September 2020, and tied for their second-largest win ever in MLS play (7–1 over FC Cincinnati in 2019).
