According to South African media, Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster looks set to depart Burnley.

Just days ago, Burnley manager Nicky Hayen has admitted that selling Lyle Foster before the transfer window slams shut is a possibility. The Championship season has already reached its third round, yet Foster has still not made a single appearance for his team. Last season, he was a regular part of the club’s rotation, featuring in 26 Premier League matches and scoring three goals.

Foster was once the only South African international playing in one of Europe’s top five leagues, and a key figure for Bafana Bafana during their Africa Cup of Nations campaign. However, at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, he was limited to just one appearance throughout the tournament.
