According to an exclusive report by French journalist Santi Aouna, Olympique Lyonnais winger Malick Fofana has rejected an approach from Hull City.

The report states that Fofana is seeking to join a club with greater stature and influence, and therefore declined Hull City's offer.

Several clubs remain interested in Fofana, including Sunderland. Additionally, Fofana's representation has also pitched him to multiple clubs, including Arsenal.

Earlier, French media outlet Footmercato reported that Hull City had made a verbal offer of €35 million for Malick Fofana.
