Tottenham legend Jamie O'Hara has questioned Manchester United's summer transfer activity, suggesting they have not done enough in the transfer window.

O'Hara on Manchester United's transfer dealings this summer: "I think they haven't done nearly enough.

In my opinion, they should have backed Carrick, invested money, and closed the gap between Arsenal and Manchester City.

But I don't think they've done that. There are shortcomings in the squad, and they could have done more. There was a chance to sign talented players like Adam Wharton and Enzo Fernández.

There are clearly many players available on the market that they could have pursued, and they could have made deals happen. This is Manchester United, come on—they are still the biggest club in England."
