The Croatian midfielder had been linked with Fiorentina before the August transfer window closed. The Qatari club has now increased its offer and is close to completing the deal.

Al Sadd is nearing completion of Marcelo Brozovic's signing on an annual contract worth 10 million euros.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the former Inter Milan midfielder is expected to arrive in Doha tomorrow to sign his new contract.

Therefore, Brozovic will not return to Italy. In recent weeks, he had been linked with Fiorentina, managed by Fabio Paratici, as well as Juventus and Lazio.
