Brighton & Hove Albion manager Fabian Hürzeler provided an update on the team's injury situation ahead of their Carabao Cup third-round match against Manchester United, stating that there are no new injury concerns, Georginio Rutter is close to returning, and Stefanos Tzimas's condition needs to be assessed carefully.

Rutter had previously missed Brighton & Hove Albion's last three Premier League matches due to a foot injury. Regarding his recovery, Hürzeler revealed that Rutter is now "close" to returning to action, making his participation against Manchester United a possibility.
Tzimas has not yet featured for Brighton & Hove Albion this season, sidelined by a muscle injury sustained last season. Hürzeler revealed that Tzimas's recovery process has recently encountered some minor setbacks.
Hürzeler said: "He's had a small setback in his recovery. It's nothing serious, but the recovery time will be slightly longer than we initially expected. He's in good spirits and in good condition now, working hard on the pitch, and we hope to see him back soon."
"I can't give a specific timeline for when he'll be back, but everything is moving in the right direction."
