According to English media outlet talkSPORT, Grealish's career at Manchester City may have come to an end, as new manager Maresca admitted he has yet to speak with the £100 million man.

Manchester City beat reporter Sam Lee stated on talkSPORT's "Weekend Sports Breakfast" show that Grealish's future is no longer at the Etihad. The 30-year-old English winger was on loan at Everton last season, contributing 2 goals and 6 assists, but suffered a stress fracture in his foot in January against his former club Aston Villa, which not only ended his season but also caused him to miss out on England's World Cup squad.

Everton did not activate the £50 million buy-out option in the loan agreement, so Grealish returned to Manchester City this summer. According to talkSPORT, there is interest in him from the Saudi League, with Al-Hilal being a potential suitor.

Sam Lee analyzed, "I think the only question is where he goes and for what transfer fee. Two years ago, Cancelo's situation was similar; although he participated in the pre-season with the team, the club had already decided to let him go. Grealish hasn't been explicitly excluded, but he is still recovering from injury. Maresca's takeover has brought changes, but Guardiola and Maresca are close, and they must have had a deep conversation. To be honest, I don't think Grealish will get another chance."

When asked by the media about Grealish's future, Maresca candidly stated, "I haven't spoken to Jack here. He is a Manchester City player, and when we return to Manchester, if he is fit, he will train with us."

Grealish joined Manchester City from Villa in the summer of 2021 for £100 million, winning the treble in the 2022/23 season and a total of three Premier League titles with the team.
