Manchester United have confirmed that Betway will be the club’s new training kit sponsor in a deal believed to be worth around £20million-a-year.

Daily Mail Sport revealed in May that United had sealed the multi-year agreement which is understood to be the biggest standalone training kit or playing shirt sleeve deal in world football.
The club have been without a sponsor on their men’s and women’s training gear since the last sponsorship with Tezos ran out in June 2025, but sources have stressed the importance of being patient and waiting to do the right training kit deal from a position of strength with Michael Carrick’s side about to return to the Champions League.
While front-of-shirt gambling sponsors are banned in the Premier League from this season, they are permitted on training kits, and insiders say the deal will help the club invest in the team and support the primary ambition to win major trophies.
The agreement between United and Super Group also sees Betway, the leading online sports betting and gaming brand, become the club’s official principal partner and exclusive global betting partner.
As well as appearing on the men’s and women’s training kits, the company’s logo will also feature prominently on matchdays at Old Trafford and the Progress with Unity Stadium.

Marc Armstrong, United’s chief business officer, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Betway as official principal partner. The scale of our exciting new partnership reflects our growth strategy, the enduring global strength and appeal of Manchester United, and our ability to attract leading brands that want to engage with our vast worldwide fanbase.
‘Betway are a world-renowned brand with significant presence across world sport. We look forward to working together to help accelerate their global ambitions and create new opportunities to bring supporters closer to Manchester United.’
It’s understood that the partnership represents Betway’s biggest commercial investment to date across a portfolio that includes top-flight football, F1, international rugby union, cricket, basketball and tennis.
Neal Menashe, chief executive officer of Super Group, said: ‘We are thrilled that our Betway brand will be the official principal partner and exclusive global betting partner of one of the world’s biggest football clubs.
‘Manchester United’s global reach, particularly with their massive fanbase across Africa, aligns perfectly with our key markets. The Premier League is the world’s most-watched domestic football competition and provides a powerful platform to connect with fans globally.
'We’re excited to see the Betway brand showcased at Old Trafford, and beyond, as part of our ongoing presence in English football’s top-flight.’
