Here we go! According to Fabrizio Romano, an oral agreement has been reached for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips to rejoin Sheffield United on loan.

Journalist Romano reported that Sheffield United and Manchester City have reached an oral agreement on the loan of Kalvin Phillips.

The transfer is essentially finalized and only awaits the completion of the medical examination, after which the loan deal can be officially completed.

Phillips suffered a knee injury during his previous loan spell at Sheffield United in February, making only 3 appearances for the club last season.

The 28-year-old midfielder has a contract with Manchester City that expires in the summer of 2028.
