According to Spanish outlet La Sexta reporter Jose Alvarez Haya, Barcelona are expected to make a move for Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres in the coming hours.

The report claims that Barcelona see Gyokeres as a replacement for Ferran Torres after his departure to Paris Saint-Germain, and they will now inquire about the Swedish star's transfer conditions.

The 28-year-old Gyokeres joined Arsenal from Sporting CP last summer for €66.9 million. Last season, he made 55 official appearances for the Gunners, starting 40 of them, scoring 21 goals and providing 3 assists.
