According to reports from Football.London, Tottenham spent £237 million during the summer transfer window, while outgoing transfers are expected to raise up to £213 million.

Tottenham made significant investments early in the summer, though they slowed their spending when managing departures. The North London club continues to strengthen before the window closes on 1 September. De Zerbi hopes to add more attacking quality to the squad in the coming weeks while also reducing the player count, as Tottenham has no European competition this season with a fixed schedule.

Tottenham broke their club transfer fee record twice this summer. After signing Tonali from Newcastle, they became one of only five Premier League clubs to have signed a player for more than £100 million.
