Fabio Capello, reviewing Serie A's top sides, noted that Juventus failed to dominate against Frosinone, Milan turned the game around after Modric and Rabiot came on as substitutes, Torino created four chances late on, and Inter had a terrible first half.

Capello believes Juventus's performance against Frosinone was almost identical to last season: no novelty, no tactical change. Ball movement remained too slow, and the most positive aspect of Juventus's opening Serie A match was undoubtedly Conceição, who brought dynamism to the team.

Frosinone appeared a suitable warm-up opponent, but despite creating chances, Juventus never truly controlled the match, nor did they score quickly or settle it early.

Capello noted that while Juventus posed a threat, they never displayed the sustained dominance expected of the team, and significant work remains ahead. After all, it's only the first matchday of Serie A, and fitness levels also matter.

He also pointed out that the new signings lacked a strong presence. Kolo Muani cannot be considered a genuine new signing since he has already played for Juventus—it can only be said he hasn't had much time to adapt to Spalletti's demands, and the coach was not with the team during Muani's first stint in Turin.
