The Argentine Football Association has officially announced that its Executive Committee decided that in the next round of all men's and women's competitions across all levels—11-a-side football, futsal, and beach soccer—matches will pause in the 10th minute of the first half for a one-minute applause to honor Lionel Messi's contributions to the Argentine national team.

Additionally, stadiums equipped with large screens must display the Argentine Football Association's official tribute video before each match begins.
