In the first round of the Champions League group stage, Barcelona defeated Feyenoord 5-1 at home, with Jesus scoring after coming off the bench in his debut for the club.

The 29-year-old Jesus joined Barcelona from Arsenal this summer.

In the home match against Feyenoord, Jesus came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute and scored two minutes later in his Champions League debut for Barcelona. It was his first goal for the club in his second appearance.
