He's not Kroos, but the creative player has arrived—and that's Bernardo Silva. Mourinho signed him to play close to the defensive midfielder, elevate the midfield's quality, and increase possession control."

What About Güler?

Bernardo Silva's arrival complicates matters for the Turkish winger. The Cadena SER journalist acknowledged: "I want to see Güler under Mourinho—not necessarily starting, but playing. The version of Güler we've seen this season, though, lacks the consistency required for regular starts under Mourinho."

Critically, Bernardo Silva is an established performer expected to deliver immediately: "Mourinho prioritizes proven players who impact matches from minute one.
