"That goal we conceded was far too careless. Their set pieces were very dangerous, and we gave away too many needless corners late in the game. I rushed out to try to catch the ball, but I wasn't in position. Saelemaekers was already there, which was unfortunate, but we quickly scored the fourth and fifth goals, which is excellent, especially as it means we won't have as much travel next."

"Yes, I don't think we played badly. Maybe the first half against Egypt wasn't great, but we played well against Iran—we just couldn't score. New Zealand were brave in possession and pressed high."
