Giampaolo: Milan gave me the "maestro" nickname; I could have done better

Current Cremonese coach Marco Giampaolo recalled his experience coaching Milan in a long interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Giampaolo said of Milan: "It's one of the biggest clubs in the world, even though the Berlusconi era was over."

"Even there, a different communication approach could have done better, because there were many difficulties at the time, such as the team returning late."

"The nickname 'Maestro' came about at Milan? That stems from my characteristics. I always try to make things more holistic, which also makes me seem very focused on teaching methods, so that's where the label came from."
