This season's new Bundesliga Player of the Match award is sponsored by Adidas. As usual, the award is decided by fan voting via the official Bundesliga app, starting from the 86th minute. The winner will receive the trophy immediately after the final whistle. This new trophy will make its debut in Saturday's Franz Beckenbauer Cup (Supercup) match.
