With the Joan Gamper Trophy concluding last Wednesday, Barcelona announced the end of their pre-season preparations, and attention has now shifted to Sunday's league opener. This match will officially kick off the 2026/27 season.

A question fans ask every year is: can the club register all new signings for the summer? Apart from Cancelo, whose registration deadline was too tight due to his late arrival, all other new Barcelona signings can be registered before the start of the new season.

After achieving the "1-1" rule, the salary space required for Gordon, Adeyemi, Rodri, and Cancelo was primarily offset by the departures of Ferran, R. Araujo, Fati, and especially Lewandowski. Lewandowski's transfer alone freed up over 40 million euros in salary space. In addition, Barcelona's revenue increased this year, providing an additional buffer of approximately 70 million euros to arrange the registration of the aforementioned players and other new signings.

The new stadium is expected to accommodate around 60,000 spectators at the beginning of this season, and the operation of some VIP boxes and the addition of new sponsors have indeed helped improve the club's economic outlook. However, despite the improving economic situation, Barcelona's spending in this transfer window is equivalent to using up the space for the next two seasons in advance. When the team returns to the Montjuïc Stadium next season, revenue will decrease again; by then, the roof of the new Camp Nou will also be installed.

With Rodri's arrival, Barcelona's brand influence has further increased. The club hopes to showcase eight players holding the World Cup trophy in the match against Athletic Bilbao.

Bisiwu and the previously signed Hamza Abdulkarim will both be registered under Barcelona B team and will not currently occupy salary space under Financial Fair Play rules. If Barcelona eventually wishes for them to play for the first team, they must apply for registration permission in advance; only then will they occupy the salary space stipulated by La Liga.
