Match Report

The away side should have taken the lead in the 20th minute, with Randal Kolo Muani blazing over from close range after Bremer's flick-on at the near post.
However, Kolo Muani's blushes were spared by Bremer two minutes later, as the Brazilian powered in a header from Francisco Conceicao’s inswinging delivery.
Luciano Spalletti's side were inches from doubling their lead in the 43rd minute, with Pierre Kalulu firing a strike against the upright via a slight nick off Lorenzo Palmisani, before the Frosinone goalkeeper reacted quickly to stop Kenan Yildiz's follow-up.
Conceicao also should have made it 2-0 seven minutes into the second half, but the winger lashed a first-time attempt over the crossbar after Zeki Celik's left-wing centre.
There was another frustrating near-miss to come for the lively Conceicao, too. After doing brilliantly to regain possession from Alessio Zerbin just outside the box, the winger rifled a thunderbolt inches past the left-hand post.
Kolo Muani could not believe his luck as he narrowly missed Edon Zhegrova's low ball into the six-yard box before new Juve goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was substituted off injured in second half stoppage-time.
Vicario's replacement, Mattia Perin, almost conceded an instant equaliser, but he was fortunate to see Gabriele Calvani's header smash the crossbar as Spalletti's men clung onto all three points.

Bianconeri heed Spalletti's warning
Before Sunday's game, Juventus boss Spalletti urged his side to prove themselves, warning players who are "not ready" would find their futures with the Turin club in doubt.
This came after a hugely disappointing 2025-26 campaign, which saw the 36-time Scudetto winners finish sixth and miss out on Champions League football.
However, the Italian will be largely pleased after his team overcame newly-promoted Frosinone. It was not all plain sailing for the visitors, though, with Vicario called into action to block Gabriele Bracaglia's first-half strike before repelling Seydou Fini's attempt at the near post.
Juventus have now avoided defeat in their last 34 games when scoring first in Serie A, since a 2-1 loss to Napoli on January 25, 2025. The visitors recorded 20 shots with five on target, with an expected goals (xG) figure of 1.99, whereas Frosinone registered 11 attempts with two on target, only mustering 0.45 xG.
Moreover, Juventus have won all four of their Serie A away games against Frosinone, but this was the first time they have scored just one goal away from home against them.
For the hosts, they have now lost all four of their opening Serie A matches (also 2-1 vs Torino in 2015-16, 4-0 vs Atalanta in 2018-19, 3-1 vs Napoli in 2023-24), joining Cremonese, Palermo and Triestina as the only four teams in top-flight history to have played at least four seasons at this level and always lost their MD1 games.
Spalletti and Juventus will be hoping to back up this result against Parma next Saturday, while Frosinone entertain Fiorentina on the same day.
