August 26, according to reports from renowned Italian journalist Romano, Inter are still monitoring the striker market, although this is not considered a necessary transfer to complete.

Romano said in a video published on his personal channel: "Inter remain vigilant about striker signings. Although there are constant external calls, for the club, this is neither urgent nor an obsession. They will only consider it an opportunity if the conditions are right."

Romano further added: "Inter will renew Pio Esposito's contract in the coming days, and, most importantly, they have kept Lautaro despite all the rumors coming from Spain. For Inter, Lautaro is not for sale."
