On August 28th, according to reports from Italian renowned journalist Romano, Juventus forward Jonathan David wants to join Atletico Madrid.

Romano's report indicates that Atletico Madrid is currently continuously looking for new forwards in the transfer market, and Jonathan David is one possible candidate, but the Canadian international is not Atletico Madrid's top priority.

Romano stated that, as far as he knows, Jonathan David is very keen to play for Atletico Madrid and would welcome an offer from them.

Jonathan David, 26, made 46 appearances for Juventus last season, contributing only 9 goals and 5 assists, and is now believed to be out of Spalletti's plans.
