On saying goodbye to Milan

"Those emotions have passed. As I said yesterday, I was on the pitch with my former teammates, experiencing my last moments at San Siro. I wanted to step onto the field, say goodbye to the fans, and feel their energy, but in the end, I couldn't. However, I wish Milan all the best, and I will continue to follow them. That's life—one chapter ends, and another begins.

"I am very happy to start a new adventure in a new country with a club that has performed well. They've already proven what they can do in the Champions League last season, and that competition is very important to me. My goal is to add strength to their team, though they already have many excellent players."

Message to Milan fans

"Thank you very much for everything. From day one, I felt at home here. Every time my family came to Milan, they felt at home too. I'm very happy to have worn the Milan jersey. We won important trophies, and I will carry Milan with me wherever I go."

Did the media annoy you sometimes?

"Many times (laughs). When we players perform well, everyone praises us. When you don't perform well, it's normal for people to criticize. But if people talk about you, it's because you have something different to offer compared to others."

Will you teach the Turks how to surf?

"Of course, of course." (laughs)
