Napoli coach Allegri downplayed the tension with Fabregas, admitting that Badiashile was "a bit behind physically" after his move from Chelsea, while also hinting that the team might not need new signings: "It's pointless to bring in players who can't improve the team technically."

"This is our first home game of the new season, and it will be exciting to play at home with our fans," Allegri told TuttoNapoli.

"Our opponents, Como, have had a great season, and with their achievements and promotion to Serie A, they have become a new force in Italian football."
