According to the Mirror, Liverpool are unhappy with fourth official Tim Robinson for not having the substitution board ready in time during their match against Nottingham Forest.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot questioned the professionalism of the fourth official following the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday. The match at Anfield was contentious at times, with Liverpool conceding a penalty that allowed Forest to equalize. Slot admitted that his team performed poorly in the first half and criticized the refereeing team, suggesting the opponents may have received inadvertent assistance.

Slot had intended to make a triple substitution before Forest scored their second goal. The goal came from a penalty after Murillo fouled Diogo Jota in the box, which Gibbs-White converted. However, fourth official Tim Robinson failed to have the substitution board ready in time, allowing Forest to take a quick throw-in while Liverpool were distracted by the substitution delay.

Alisson was sent off for fouling Neco Williams as he charged off his line, and Gibbs-White converted the resulting penalty to make it 2-1. Slot was visibly frustrated with Robinson while waiting for the number board, and remained angry during his post-match interview. "I will analyze that penalty, yes, but a professional fourth official should not take three minutes to prepare for a substitution," Slot told TNT Sports. "We signaled for a substitution two or three minutes in advance. We couldn't make the substitution at the previous stoppage, so I was frustrated. I also told them to substitute before the throw-in, but it took a long time to prepare the boards."

Alisson was furious about the penalty decision and received a yellow card for protesting to referee Sam Barrott. The goalkeeper remained angry after the match and was caught on camera kicking a substitution board, putting a hole in it.
