According to Goal.com, former Argentine star Aguero's name appeared in a judicial investigation involving international drug trafficking and money laundering.

Investigation documents show that individuals suspected of belonging to the organization attempted to use Aguero's image and global fame to promote a business project. According to investigation materials overseen by Judge Pablo Yadarola, Aguero has not been charged in this case. However, members of the organization attempted to associate a ticketing platform project with the former striker's image, and the related business operations are currently under judicial review.
Information and documents extracted by police from seized mobile phones show that negotiations took place regarding the launch of the "Kru Tickets" brand. This brand is associated with an esports organization founded by Aguero. The investigation states that the involved members attempted to advance this project using Aguero's name and reputation.
The investigation also reveals that the gang is suspected of involvement in importing cocaine from Bolivia and synthetic drugs from Spain. Several arrests have been made, including that of Pipot Alvarez, who began a hunger strike after being detained.
Case materials include communications between several individuals whom police claim are linked to the organization, including Diego Francisco Anzalone, Bono Oziel De Carucci, Raúl Omar "Brujo" Mansoni, and Alvarez. Some of their activities occurred at a location on Ricardo Bochini Street in Avellaneda, near the Independiente stadium.
A message in the case file is dated January 30, 2026. At that time, Anzalone spoke with De Carucci about hoping to reach an agreement with Aguero regarding the ticketing platform as soon as possible.
Weeks later, other communications shifted to the possibility of operating the project through several companies. One was linked to individuals described by investigators as suspected drug traffickers, while another pointed to projects related to Aguero.
These messages also mentioned that someone had traveled to Mexico to advance business negotiations. On April 22, Anzalone told an intermediary that he had met with Aguero. According to these communications, the agreement was in its final stages.
The investigation also shows that they attempted to raise approximately 10,000 euros from potential investors. The documents state that Anzalone wanted to raise this money so that Aguero would not have to contribute to the project's initial capital.
The aforementioned facts remain under judicial investigation, and the case file does not indicate that Aguero has been charged.
