According to the Evening Standard, Richarlison, who wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur after his move to Trabzonspor fell through, is now seeking a new club. With transfer windows closing in several leagues, the Brazilian forward's options are rapidly diminishing.

Richarlison has been linked with a departure this summer. Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi previously confirmed that the player had requested to leave the club. Meanwhile, Richarlison was not included in Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League squad list for this season.

Everton was one of the clubs interested in Richarlison, but negotiations made little progress before the English transfer window closed. Trabzonspor then emerged as a potential destination, but the deal also fell through before the Turkish transfer window closed on Friday evening local time.

With transfer windows in markets such as England, Turkey, Scotland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Major League Soccer now closed, Richarlison's options have become severely limited.

Currently, the Saudi Pro League is one of the most realistic potential destinations. The Saudi league's transfer window does not close until October 12, giving Richarlison considerable time to secure a move.

Portugal is also a possible option, with the local transfer window closing on September 15. Brazil and Mexico's transfer windows close on September 11, so Richarlison still has time to seek a return to Brazil or a move to Mexico.

If he remains unable to find a new club, questions remain about how Tottenham Hotspur will proceed. TalkSPORT previously reported that Tottenham Hotspur is considering terminating the 29-year-old forward's contract. If terminated, Richarlison would become a free agent, allowing him to join a new club outside the transfer window under relevant registration rules.

Richarlison said in a statement last week: "Despite everything that has happened, I remain under contract with Tottenham Hotspur and will continue to be at the club's disposal."
