Ronaldo's lackluster performance in Saturday's match against Al-Ittihad has once again sparked controversy and discussion about the Portuguese legend's impact on the team's performance.

Saudi sports journalist Abdulkarim Al-Zamil discussed how Ronaldo factors into the team's victories. He believes that when the former Portuguese forward is on the field, the team effectively plays with 10 men.
Al-Zamil wrote on social media: "With Ronaldo, winning means playing with one fewer man, even if he scores. This is a fact that some people deliberately choose to ignore."
He also highlighted the conflict between individual and team objectives, stating: "The team's goal is winning the championship, while Ronaldo's goal is reaching his 1000th goal."
Al-Zamil believes the solution is not necessarily to exclude Ronaldo outright, but to reduce his playing time and better utilize him in the second half. He added: "Limiting his playing time to the second half would benefit both him and the team!"
