According to L'Équipe, Fabian Ruiz stated on TF1's Téléfoot that winning the Ballon d'Or is his dream.

"For any footballer, to be recognized individually for their efforts this season and in previous seasons is a dream. I've been fortunate to win many team trophies and some individual awards, but why not dream of getting as close as possible to lifting this beautiful trophy this year? Winning the Ballon d'Or would be an honor for me," said Fabian Ruiz.
"I don't like being in the spotlight or being the center of attention, but I feel that this year, with my season, the effort I've put in, and the trophies I've won, I can accept that." The 28-year-old player, who suffered a knee injury and was sidelined from January to April, added: "From a collective standpoint, I've won everything. Among individual world honors, the only thing I'm missing is the Ballon d'Or, to be recognized by everyone."
"With these trophies, both physically and in terms of game performance, I am at the best stage of my career. I have improved a lot since Enrique joined the team," Fabian Ruiz continued. The midfielder officially renewed his contract with Paris Saint-Germain last Friday until 2028, with an option for an additional year.
This week, Paris Saint-Germain coach Enrique said that someone on the team should win this trophy: "We have players who have won the Champions League. We have Fabian Ruiz, who won the World Cup. And then there's Dembélé, who won the Ballon d'Or last season."
